Tree Plantation contributes to reforestation efforts and improving local ecosystems. EMPOWER YOU: SKILL ENHANCEMENT WORKSHOP
The Workshop for Skill Enhancement in MS Office aimed to improve participants’ proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The event sought to equip attendees with advanced skills and techniques to enhance their productivity and efficiency in academic and professional settings. Through hands-on training sessions and expert guidance, attendees gained advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; learned techniques to streamline tasks, analyze data and create impactful presentations. The workshop fostered a sense of confidence and competence; enabling participants to apply these enhanced skills in their academic and professional endeavors. VOTING VIBES
The Voting Awareness Campaign aimed to educate and motivate citizens about the importance of casting their votes in elections. The campaign sought to increase voter turnout; promote informed voting and emphasize the role of every individual in the democratic process. Through informative sessions, workshops and outreach activities; participants gained a deeper understanding of the electoral process, voter rights and the importance of informed voting. The campaign fostered a sense of civic duty and engagement; encouraging citizens to actively participate in elections. As a result, attendees felt more empowered and motivated to cast their votes, contributing to increased voter turnout and a more robust democratic process.
ART ON THE FLOOR: DESIGNS IN BLOOM
The main aim of organizing the Rangoli Making Competition was to encourage participants to showcase their creativity and cultural heritage through the traditional art form of Rangoli. This event sought to promote artistic expression, cultural appreciation and community engagement among students and staff members. Participants had the opportunity to experiment with Rangoli designs, allowing them to explore their artistic abilities and discover new creative techniques in a supportive environment. The event brought together students and staff members, promoting a sense of unity and camaraderie as they collaborated and admired each other’s Rangoli creations. By showcasing Rangoli art, the competition raised awareness about the significance of traditional Indian art forms, encouraging appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity.
INK & IMAGINATION: GRAPHIC GENIUS
The purpose of organizing the Poster Making Competition was to provide a platform for participants to creatively express important themes and messages through visual art. The competition enabled participants to unleash their creativity and imagination through the creation of visually compelling posters. Participants explored diverse artistic styles and techniques; resulting in a rich array of expressive and thought-provoking artwork. Participants used their posters as a means to raise awareness about a wide range of social, environmental and cultural issues. Through powerful imagery and concise messaging; they effectively communicated key messages to viewers, sparking dialogue and encouraging action. The competition fostered community engagement by inviting students, faculty and staff members to participate as creators or viewers. It encouraged individuals to develop skills in visual communication and media literacy, enhancing their ability to understand and respond to visual information in society.
Voices for Respect: Empower, Don’t Humiliate
The recent Anti-Ragging Awareness Program was a crucial and enlightening event aimed at fostering a safe and inclusive environment on our campus. This program was designed to educate students about the detrimental effects of ragging and to promote a culture of respect and camaraderie. Through impactful presentations, interactive sessions, and real-life testimonials; the event highlighted the serious consequences of ragging on individuals and the broader community. Students learned about the strict anti-ragging policies in place and the support systems available for those affected. The program also featured discussions on how to recognize, prevent and report instances of ragging; empowering students to take a stand against such practices. The audience left with a deeper understanding of the importance of mutual respect and the role they play in creating a welcoming and supportive campus atmosphere. This event was a significant step in reinforcing our commitment to a ragging-free campus; ensuring that every student can thrive in a safe and respectful environment.
