Entrepreneurship Development(Ed) Cell
VISION: ED Cell focuses on fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among students and faculty. The ED Cell’s vision would be centered on empowering future engineers with the skills, resources, and support they need to turn their technological ideas into successful ventures.
MISSION: To nurture a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty. Through a blend of skill-building programs, mentorship, resources, and industry connections, the ED Cell aims to empower aspiring tech entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into successful ventures that can positively impact society and the tech industry.
Global Research Institute of Management and Technology has created an ED Cell to develop entrepreneurial traits among the students. We envision an ecosystem that helps students undertake the entrepreneurial journey from ideation to launch and beyond. One that connects them to mentors, collaborates, networks, funding sources and other enablers.
FUNCTIONS/FACILITIES: Through ED Cell, we provide various functions and facilities to support innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup growth among students and faculty. These functions and facilities help bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world business experience, fostering a practical, hands-on approach to entrepreneurship. This cell conducts various events, workshops/interactive games and speaker sessions for inspiring and assisting YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS in their journey in the world of business. ED Cell assists those by providing support in terms of resources, networking, guidance and motivation. We at ED Cell are working to induce an entrepreneurial mind-set in the students and support the innovative streak in them.
